Privacy policy

This policy explains how Modus Vivendi handles personal data when you visit the website or get in touch with me.

Data controller

Modus Vivendi, represented by Jannicken Jakobsen Klonteig, is responsible for processing your personal data. Questions about privacy can be sent to jannicken@modusvivendi.no or by phone on +47 970 32 530.

The contact form

When you send a message through the contact form, I process your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it) and the content of your message. The purpose is to reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Please don’t share more sensitive health information in the form than you’re comfortable with. We can continue the conversation by phone or in person instead.

The message is sent to me by email and is not stored in any database on the website. Enquiries are deleted when they are no longer needed, and at the latest 12 months after our last contact, unless we have entered into a client relationship.

Services that help me run the website

• Cloudflare hosts the website and protects the contact form against spam (Turnstile). Turnstile does not use cookies for tracking or marketing.
• Resend delivers the email from the contact form to me.

These providers act as data processors and may process data outside the EEA. Such transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies and tracking

The website uses no analytics or advertising tracking. One cookie, lang, remembers which language you’ve chosen, for one year. It is not used for anything else.

The first time you visit the front page, Cloudflare uses the country your IP address belongs to in order to choose Norwegian or English. The website does not store your IP address.

Fonts and images are loaded from the website itself. The Spotify podcast player only loads when you click it, and Spotify’s privacy policy then applies. Links to Instagram and LinkedIn take you to those services, which have their own terms.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete the data about you, and to withdraw your consent. Contact me at jannicken@modusvivendi.no. If you believe I am processing personal data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
